Moms in Midlife

A Space to Navigate This Beautiful, Messy Transition—Together

Just when you need most to slow down and tend to yourself, you're still showing up for everyone else, and you’re wondering:

How do other women do this while holding it all together?

Are you….

  • longing to build relationships with other moms in the local community of Pinole?

  • facing new challenges at home and want some loving support?

  • craving deeper connection with other moms navigating the tween and teen years—especially as it relates to technology, driving, shifting sleep schedules, and those conversations about periods and sex?

  • sensing your social life is changing as your kids get older?

  • wondering what to expect as you approach or move through menopause?

  • struggling with the messiness of this hormonal transition and wondering how other moms manage it?

  • looking for something meaningful to do with other moms who get it?

You’re not alone on this roller coaster.

A young man with long curly hair and a woman with blonde hair and a black bikini top pose together outdoors under a large blue patio umbrella. The young man is shirtless, smiling at the camera, and the woman is smiling with her arm around the young man. There are colorful pool toys and a striped towel in the background.

I can relate!

My own kids are nearly 17 and 19, and things have shifted so much over these teen years. While they're navigating puberty, first loves, changing schools, and gaining freedom with driving, I've been losing my hormones, my hair, and my good sleep. As they've gotten older, my social circle has shrunk too—so many of my friendships had been built on the sidelines at soccer fields and swim meets. Now I'm having to think differently about how to build local connection with other women.

I've been grateful for safe spaces to meet other women and to learn from those further along the perimenopause journey.

I wish I had had a circle like this in my mid-40s.

I've found it so helpful to be in community with other women, to feel the camaraderie, to learn from each other, and to know I'm not alone in this journey. Especially through the bigger transitions like perimenopause.

What This Circle Is:

A monthly in-person gathering of mothers who are navigating the challenges of both parenting and perimenopause or menopause. A space where you can explore this profound transition with other women like you who want to to understand how to tend to their own transformation while still tending to everyone else.

Each month we'll:

  • Come together around the full moon, a potent time to connect socially with others, to pause, reflect, and remember you're not alone in this time of transition

  • Explore they mystery and potency of this marvelous alchemical process of the menopause journey

  • Practice nervous system support (gentle movement, meditation, breath work) to help you reconnect with and care for your changing body

  • Share what's actually happening for you—the hormonal shifts, the body changes, what it feels like to be in this messy transition while still being a mom

  • Explore topics that matter (understanding perimenopause and menopause, managing symptoms and moods, reclaiming your body and your needs, finding yourself in this transition, parenting challenges)

  • Connect as real people, over snacks, with women who are going through the same hormonal journey and understand the particular challenge of doing so as a mother

What You'll Leave With:

A day that feels like breathing space—where your body and your transition are the focus, not an afterthought.

A deeper understanding of what's happening in your body and how to work with it instead of against it.

A crew of women who are living the same hormonal reality and understand the particular challenge of doing it while still being a mom.

Permission and tools to tend to your own needs during this profound transition.
