I know from experience that even positive changes like making a career pivot, launching a coaching practice, or everyday shifts like raising young people can throw us off our game. Trying to push forward while holding back our feelings isn’t the solution.

Normalizing the bumpy ups and downs and learning to accept support is what helps us navigate through the chaos.

My life is messy and imperfect, just like yours!

And yet I’m also simultaneously whole and complete, learning from my experiences, navigating ever-changing terrain that sometimes feels scary, and stepping into the mystery anyway.

I’ve learned how facing messy moments with curiosity and compassion, and having trusted support not only gets us back on track but puts us on an easier, more meaningful path forward.

That’s why I’m committed to helping you.

Whether you need support through a challenging life transition, starting a new role or coaching practice, or managing stress at home, I’ll make good company for your journey.

MY STORY

Angie Fox Coach, Leadership Consultant, Consultant for HR professional, Group Coaching.jpg

  • Early in my career, I felt too young to be in a leadership role and didn’t trust that my older male colleagues would take me seriously.

Working with a coach helped me shift my perspective and find my voice.

  • When my kids were young, I took on a global role with expanded leadership responsibility and overseas travel requirements.  Learning how to navigate the global hours and the added complexity at home was no easy feat!

Thankfully, I had a handful of bosses who helped me get creative and explore the flexibility I needed.

  • Two years after starting my own business, I suddenly lost my last living parent. That same year my marriage fell apart. I faced a lot of grief and mixed feelings while simultaneously building my new career and raising two small humans.

I am lucky to have had a long-term Aletheia coach that helped me navigate the the sticky and tender moments.

MY EXPERIENCE

I was certified as an Integral Coach from New Ventures West in San Francisco in 2007, became one of the first Aletheia Certified Coaches in 2016, and joined the Aletheia teaching team in 2021. I continue to mentor Aletheia students embarking on their coaching journey, and love helping fellow humans unfold into more of their beautiful selves, finding more ease and joy in their life, their work, and their parenting.

Until 2012, I spent 15 years with Genentech, Inc., a member of the Roche group, in a variety of Learning and Development roles. While there, I supported global learning organizations, managed local and remote staff, created and facilitated a variety of training and leadership programs, and led major change initiatives.

For 10 years in between, I worked as external coach and consultant facilitating programs around change, leadership, communication, feedback, coaching, mindfulness, wellbeing, resilience and trust.   Bringing an unfolding approach to working with groups, I also supported senior leadership team launches, facilitated offsite retreats, supported teams through agile transformations with tools like the Enneagram IEQ9 and Leadership circle Profile (LCP), and helped teams strengthen trust and relationships to enhance their effectiveness.

I live with my two children and second husband in Pinole, CA, where we spend much of our time enjoying our garden, growing vegetables, raising chickens, eating the fruits of our labor, and working to regenerate the soil that nourishes us back.
